Toby McGee was introduced to the craft of glassblowing as an art student at Emporia State University, Emporia, KS. This form of artistic expression has been the focus and a passion of his life since 1979. After graduating with degrees in fine arts and art education, he pursued graduate study in glass at the University of Kansas. In 1985, Toby opened a private glassblowing studio that he now operates at the home he shares with his wife, Heather, a wildlife painter, in Oklahoma City, OK. All of the pieces are designed and executed solely by him in the backyard studio. Toby sells most of his work at art festivals around the Midwest and Florida.
